INVESTIGATE
STAGE
CRITERION A: Investigate
In this criterion, I’d give myself
4/6, this because reading the assessment criteria based on the investigation, I noticed that I didn’t do enough
work to get a 5 or a 6, but I worked well on my design specification, therefore
on limits, demands and wishes about my poster. I think that to get a 5 or a 6 I
should improve my Design Brief because it is a bit to brief. I think that the
best thing that I did is the research, due to the fact that I compared ten different
sources to answer to ten different guiding questions. I summarised the
information that I found on each website and, at the end of the guiding
questions, I did a bibliography and finally I illustrated all the website where
I looked so that my audience could see how have I found them and why are they
useful for my project.
DESIGN
STAGE
CRITERION B: Design
I believe that in this criteria I’ll get a 4+/6, because
I’m really closed to reach level 5 but I’m missing a few details. In my design
stage I put on my blog the four images of my poster, I wrote a short
explanation of them and I evaluated each one using my design specification
table. I wrote why I selected my final poster and why I didn’t select the other
ones. I think that I could improve my design stage better specifying my
decision about my final poster and how I create it.
CREATE STAGE
CRITERION D: Create
In this criterion I expect a 4/6. This because I followed
my plan and any time that I made any changes, I wrote a short process journal
and I added a screenshot of all the work
done. The quality of my creation is quite high even if it could be better; I could
improve my techniques and equipment used. I’m quite satisfied of my final
product and I think that the impact won’t be bad.
EVALUATION STAGE
CRITERION E: Evaluate
As in nearly all the criterions, I hope that in the
evaluation stage I’ll get a 4/6. I give
myself this mark because in my opinion I did this stage quite well. I evaluated
all my stages and I wrote what could I improve and which one is the best part
of the stage. The only criteria that I didn’t evaluate is criterion F, this
because Mr. Mariani told us not to evaluate it because it is about our attitude
in computer technology, our behaviour in class and
our participation during the lessons. I evaluated the success of my product
doing a survey in class and asking questions about my poster to my classmates. Thanks
to their judgements, I could improve my poster and change the things that they
didn’t like (e.g. background).
